BALI Catamarans Embarks on a New Transatlantic Adventure at the 2025 Rallye des Îles du Soleil

As the 2025 Rallye des Îles du Soleil prepares to set sail this Friday, October 31st, for another unforgettable transatlantic crossing from the Canary Islands to Marie-Galante, with a stopover in Cape Verde, BALI Catamarans is once again proud to be an official partner of this friendly and secure event. This year, several of BALI’s iconic models will take part in the rally — including the BALI 4.6 “Liberty B&B.”

Onboard, a passionate crew is about to make their dream come true: to cross the Atlantic under the BALI Catamarans banner. For Keven, Élisabeth, and their crewmates, this transatlantic adventure is not only a nautical challenge — it’s above all a human journey, a milestone in a life project built around freedom, discovery, and sharing.

Just days before the big departure, let’s meet the Liberty B&B crew — five passionate sailors preparing to hoist their sails towards Marie-Galante aboard their BALI 4.6.

1. Meet the Crew

Keven, 35, captain of Liberty B&B, is an entrepreneur and investor in the construction industry. Known for his technical skills, precision, and calm under pressure, he handles unexpected challenges with remarkable composure. A dreamer at heart, he’s full of ambitious ideas and daring projects. Nothing is too big or impossible for him — if you think it can’t be done, Keven will prove you wrong.

Élisabeth, 29, the admiral of Liberty B&B, is a trained social worker passionate about human relationships and always ready to share an inspiring story or reflection. She finds joy in the little things of everyday life and thrives on connecting with others. Her curiosity about different cultures and their perspectives on happiness is insatiable. Whether you’re up for a deep conversation or a good laugh, she’s always ready for the adventure.

Amélie, 30, a clinical nurse, discovered sailing on the St. Lawrence River. Her curiosity and eagerness to learn led her to pursue multiple sailing certifications. It was during her intermediate sailing course — a delivery trip between Guadeloupe and Martinique — that she met Keven and Élisabeth. That experience sealed their shared passion for navigation and exploring new horizons by sea.

Stéphane, 56, a retired dentist, discovered sailing about ten years ago. Since then, he’s taken every opportunity to refine his skills and live new nautical experiences. This transatlantic crossing is, for him, a unique chance to meet other sailors, share his love for the sea, and prepare for his own Atlantic crossing planned for spring 2026.

Camille, 34, an urban planner, has lived in Guadeloupe for a decade, where he discovered his love for sailing. A sailing school member turned racer on a First Class 10, and later owner of his own boat, he spent 2024 exploring the Lesser Antilles aboard his 33-foot yacht. That’s where his dream took shape — to finally cross the Atlantic under sail.

“When I saw Keven and Élisabeth’s announcement about joining the Rallye des Îles du Soleil — and on a BALI 4.6, no less — I jumped at the opportunity!”Camille

2. How Did Your Catamaran Project Begin?

For Keven and Élisabeth, the Liberty B&B project is above all a story of passion and a shared dream. Born explorers, they had already visited more than twenty countries before dropping anchor into full-time life at sea.

“When we first met,” recalls Élisabeth, “Keven told me his ultimate dream was to own a catamaran. I told him I wanted to travel the world — without realizing it would one day happen under sail!”

Five years later, that dream has come to life: a boat, an adventure, and a shared vision of freedom.

3. Why Did You Choose a BALI — and Especially the BALI 4.6?

From their very first visit, the BALI 4.6 was love at first sight.

“Right away, we were drawn to the incredible living space,” says Élisabeth. “The brightness, the open layout, the feeling of living outdoors while keeping the comfort of a real home — that’s what truly sets BALI apart.”

For the couple, conviviality was key.

“We love sharing our passion for the sea and sailing with friends and family. The BALI 4.6 gives us space to welcome everyone comfortably — whether it’s for a day of sailing or a sunset aperitif.”

4. What Motivated You to Join the Rallye des Îles du Soleil?

Joining the Rallye des Îles du Soleil felt like the natural next step in their adventure aboard Liberty B&B.

“We’ve been following the rally for two years,” explains Élisabeth. “What won us over was the organization, the safety, and especially the camaraderie. It’s a crossing you share — not one you endure. Meeting and exchanging with other sailors through such an experience is exactly what we were looking for.”

5. Your Nomadic Program: Life Afloat

For over fifteen months now, Keven and Élisabeth have been living full-time aboard their catamaran.

“We’ve visited Spain, France, Portugal, Madeira, the Canary Islands, Morocco, Gibraltar, the Balearics, Sardinia, and Corsica. Time just seems to fly by,” they smile.

Next on their horizon: the Caribbean, where they plan to enjoy turquoise waters, local encounters, and culinary delights — before perhaps setting their sights on a round-the-world voyage, the dream that first brought them together.
